Selling my MGB

A well-maintained classic with plenty of original features

I am the second owner having acquired the car in 1994.  It has undergone professional bodywork to repair rust in the lower front fender areas, doors and dog legs, including small dent repairs in the bonnet, and finished with a fresh repaint in the original green.

Most components remain original, with an upgrade to electronic ignition for improved reliability. The seats are from a later year model and in fairly good shape, the driver's seat shows some wear including some tears. The passenger side door card shows considerable damage, and paint overspray can be seen on the window winder handles and door release handle trim. A replacement speedometer is included to install in place of the none working unit.

The installed windshield and frame are in good condition but appears to possibly be from an earlier model as there are no sun visor mounting positions, a later model windshield assembly comes with the car. The convertible top and frame are in good shape, clear vinyl windows with no fogging. The bumpers are in fair condition, with chrome pitting, but are serviceable. The left rear bumper and over-rider shows damage and chrome pitting.

The B was put in long term storage in 2015 in a dry garage. Some servicing will be required such as fresh oil, break slave cylinders could use rebuild or replacement, clutch master cylinder may need rebuild, as right now there is no hydraulic pressure.

This fine example of a late model MGB would make a great running project candidate needing some cosmetic and minor mechanical fixes to get her back on the road for some fun.

This B is waiting to get back on the road and I am open to any offer.
